• The Mosquito was originally developed for zander fishing in cold and deep waters in larger sizes, but it has proven to be more versatile than we initially thought! The sturdy rubber generates subtle vibrations during slow retrieves and pulsates strongly during fast jerk or twitch movements. This has proven lethal for sea bass in the surface layers and for vertical fishing of pollock. Our test anglers caught many large fish by selecting the Mosquito size based on the size of the local sand eel. Available in five sizes. Smaller models are perfect for perch and zander (drop shot, rubber jig, jig head, etc.). Intermediate sizes can be fished classically but are also very suitable as trailers on setups like the Boomer, Gennaker, and other Spinnaker setups. The largest sizes are for vertical fishing in deep waters targeting big fish: large zander in still water or sea bass, pollock, and cod at sea. Equipped with our SBC (Sugar Belly Concept) for maximum flexibility and the possibility to add attractant when fishing is tough.
