• The Mosquito was initially developed for walleye fishing in cold and deep waters in larger sizes, but has proven to be more versatile than we originally thought! The durable rubber generates subtle vibrations with slow retrieves and pulses strongly with rapid jerk or twitch movements. This has been deadly for seabass in the upper water layers and for vertical jigging for pollock. Our test anglers caught many big fish by matching the Mosquito's size to the appropriate size of the available sand eel. Available in 5 sizes. Smaller models are perfect for perch and zander (dropshot, rubber jig, leadhead jig, etc.). The intermediate sizes can be fished traditionally, but are also very suitable as trailers on setups like the Boomer, Gennaker, and other Spinnaker setups. The largest sizes are ideal for vertical fishing in deep waters for large species: big zander in still waters or seabass, pollock, and cod at sea. Equipped with our SBC (Sugar Belly Concept) for maximum mobility and the option to add attractant when fishing is tough. A highly versatile lure for various species and techniques that will catch fish under many circumstances. Comes with an anise scent.
