KEITECH was founded in 1996 by Kei Hayashi, one of Japan’s most renowned Black Bass tournament anglers. Located at the base of Mount Fuji, KEITECH develops and manufactures soft baits in Japan that exceed current standards due to advanced production techniques and high-quality materials. KEITECH's innovative double-mold injection machines allow for the precise assembly of soft materials, creating perfectly balanced lures with entirely unique actions. The use of natural squid scents directly integrated into the bait material has significantly enhanced their appeal.

KEITECH is dedicated to constant innovation, driven by a commitment to improve not by comparison to other brands but simply by excelling at the water’s edge.

For several years, visitors were invited to explore KEITECH’s factory, and eventually, they gained access to the production area. In this space, the process resembles that of a fine restaurant, with “chefs” working with a variety of ingredients: blocks of plastic with varying densities, salt, squid extract, different types of glitter, and an extensive range of colors. These ingredients are meticulously combined according to precise, strictly controlled recipes. Any lure that doesn’t meet KEITECH's rigorous standards, even with a slight color inconsistency, is discarded. Each lure undergoes a careful inspection before being hand-packaged.
