• The DERA BALL is a hybrid softbait that perfectly blends the characteristics of a crankbait and a shad. Best described as a swimbait, it effectively imitates a wide range of prey species. Its round, compact body makes it easy to cast and skip under overhangs or around structure.When retrieved steadily, the DERA BALL’s distinctive rolling action triggers aggressive strikes from predators hiding among vegetation, lilies, or submerged timber. Although originally designed for fishing just below the surface, it can also be fished deeper by adding a tungsten weight.The leader runs through a plastic tube inside the DERA BALL, allowing the bait to slide freely up the line after a strike — reducing the chance of losing fish during the fight.This lure also features a brilliant attachment system: a high-quality treble hook equipped with two flexible antennas that secure it firmly into the bait. The treble is connected to a swivel via a split ring, allowing 360° free rotation when a fish is hooked — minimizing the risk of losing your catch.
