• The TSUKUMO 66 is an innovative lipless crankbait, originally developed in Japan for targeting seabass in shallow environments such as estuaries and rocky shorelines. Its distinctive reversed lip, positioned at the rear of the body, captures water efficiently, allowing the lure to rise quickly without losing speed. This design ensures exceptionally long casts, even when power casting.On the retrieve, the TSUKUMO 66 produces strong, high-intensity vibrations that immediately attract predatory fish. This revolutionary concept enables effective fishing in very shallow water, around 1 metre deep, where traditional vibration lures would normally scrape the bottom.Extremely user-friendly, it can be fished with either a slow or fast retrieve. The faster the retrieve, the shallower the running depth. When worked in a lift-and-fall zigzag motion, the TSUKUMO 66 rises rapidly and then sinks back slowly, controlled by the resistance of its reversed lip.We selected this lure for its outstanding potential across European waters. It is perfectly suited for fishing above large weed beds, where perch, black bass, zander and pike lie in ambush. A true reaction bait, it will also undoubtedly trigger aggressive strikes from asp in large rivers.
