Its large body displaces a significant amount of water. The oversized eyes and the double tail, which flutters with the slightest movement, make this lure even more enticing, particularly for pike! The belly section holds air and liquid additives but, more importantly, helps compress the lure into the mouth of a striking fish, preventing the Texas hook from getting fouled. When fishing the lure weightless, try filling it with a liquid attractant to improve stability. The ribbed belly section has a softer texture that predators latch onto during a strike, providing more time to set the hook properly. Tinsel adds extra visual appeal. No fish can resist the BULL FROG when fished around plants! We recommend a 4/0 wide gap Texas hook. Anise-flavored.
