• This exceptional high-protein (fishmeal-free!!) carp bait (and groundbait) is ready to use and is applied as follows. To achieve good results, establish a feeding spot approximately 3 to 4 days before the planned fishing day, allowing the carp to recognize this as a new food source.On the first day, throw 15 to 20 balls around 4 cm in diameter. On the second day, throw 10 to 15 balls. To maintain the feeding spot, throw 10 Carpano balls per day and even every other day.To use Carpano as bait, balls with a diameter of 3 cm are sufficient. These weigh about 20 grams, while 4 cm balls weigh about 40 grams. These are heavy enough to cast without lead.Once at the feeding spot, carefully tension the fishing line, adjusting the casting rod so that the tip points directly to the feeding spot. Preferably leave the bail arm of the reel open, providing the carp with minimal resistance.With 1 kg of Carpano feed, you can make 50 balls with a diameter of 4 cm. You can calculate how much you need accordingly. The best way to progressively moisten Carpano is with a small amount of water... knead, add a little more water... knead, until you achieve the desired consistency – not too hard and not too soft.A Carpano bait ball does not disintegrate and lasts for more than 24 hours. To keep the bait ball securely on the hook during the cast, it is best to first place a piece of bread crust, proportionate in size to the bait ball, in the bend of the hook, and then knead the bait ball around it.TIP: When fishing for very large specimens, make both the feed balls and the bait balls larger.Carpano can also be used perfectly as groundbait, but do take its binding properties into account.
