      • Kairiki 8 is a highly technical 8-strand braided PE line utilizing VT Construction for a smoother finish and a thinner diameter. This makes it ideal for all applications in both freshwater and saltwater, where the smooth profile casts extremely well and minimizes noise when the line runs under tension through the guides, also enhancing bite detection. If you are looking for a supple, smooth line that allows for long, silent casts with ideal control over your bait or lure, then the premium SHIMANO Kairiki 8 is the perfect line for you. Compared to many 8-braids, the Kairiki 8 is noticeably smoother with a rounder profile, resulting in longer, more accurate casts and increased sensitivity. Moreover, Kairiki 8 generates less noise when passing through the line guides. Kairiki is available in a wide range of diameters in both high visibility (Orange, Mantis Green, and Multi) and low visibility (Steel Gray) and is suitable for many different fishing techniques. The S-EBT construction (SHIMANO Enhanced Body Technology) combines the 8 strands under constant and consistent multi-angle tension. This places each strand perfectly next to the adjacent strands under tight compression, creating a more compact braid with a rounder profile. The tighter braid results in a smaller diameter, increased sensitivity, and a smoother finish, all contributing to enhanced performance.
