• This PEPPER S 2252 M-MH SILVER OPS is the most powerful model in our PEPPER series. Gael Even specifically designed this two-piece rod for enhanced finesse techniques. With a length of 225 cm, the rod boasts significant casting power, provides excellent control over the lure, and detects bites at all distances. The design required a fast action in the lower three-quarters of the blank with a softer action in the last quarter. This results in a versatile rod capable of handling topwater lures like the BONNIE 95 and 107, RISER BAIT 008, CHATTERBEAST 90 and 115, and a variety of plugs such as WATER MONITOR 95, STREAM RIPPER 75, 90, and 110, RERANGE 110 and 130 SP, RV MINNOW 110 SP, BATTLE MINNOW 135 SP, SQUIRREL 79 SP, and DD SQUIRREL 79 SP. Also suitable for linear fishing with soft lures like the MAGIC SLIM SHAD 4, 5, and 6 or the MAGIC FAT SHAD 5 or the MAGIC Z SHAD 105, 130, and 160 on MAGIC ROUND HEADS from 5 to 14g. Can also handle retrieve-style soft lures, from the NITRO SHAD 65 rigged on 7 to 10g NITRO SHAD HEADS to our NITRO SLIM SHAD 150 fished on 10 to 14g heads. Gael intended this rod to be his go-to for freshwater zander, big perch, light pike fishing, and finesse saltwater fishing from shore or boat. It is also ideal for roving fishing with the 14 to 28.5g DERACOUP and for fishing with the RUNNER BLADE, sizes 70 and 90, or SILVER SHADE casting jigs. This PEPPER is built on our new X5 high-grade blanks fitted with prepreg carbon set at three different angles to reduce weight and increase responsiveness without sacrificing strength. Equipped with FUJI TORZITE TITANIUM K guides to eliminate line issues, reduce weight, and extend the line’s lifespan. The VSS reel seat is comfortable for casting and fighting fish. Supplied with a Cordura protective cover and a signed rod bag.
