Description

• The Baitrunner X-Aero 4000 is SHIMANO's high-quality 'compact' BAITRUNNER® reel, designed specifically for specialist carp, tench, barbel anglers, and match fishers who prefer a baitrunner system reel.Due to its versatility, the Baitrunner X-Aero 4000 is extremely popular. If you are looking for a smaller, compact reel to use for lightweight and active carp fishing, dead bait for pike, barbel fishing, or match fishing for carp, then the size 4000 is a perfect choice. The famous, user-friendly Shimano baitrunner reels are a reliable partner when fishing with fixed lead, (method) feeder, and even float setups, primarily for species like carp, tench, and barbel, where bites can often be sudden and very aggressive. When the baitrunner function is engaged, the spool releases line with minimal friction until you pick up the rod and turn the handle, activating the front drag immediately, so the battle with the fish can begin.Although the Baitrunner X-Aero 4000 is relatively small in size, it is remarkably powerful, ensuring that even large fish are no problem. X-SHIP ensures efficient and smooth reeling under pressure, and combined with the powerful 4.8:1 gear ratio and Shielded A-RB bearings, this small powerhouse delivers impressive cranking power. The oversized Aero AR-C spool enhances casting performance and allows the use of mainline in all diameters, whether you use mono or braided mainline. You can pair the X-Aero 4000 with many of the Shimano Barbel, float, and feeder rods. Whether it's the lighter and shorter Tribal models, the Purist, or Aero rods, you will form a great balanced combo that will bring you plenty of fishing enjoyment. Compact BAITRUNNER® model with oversized diameter Aero AR-C spool for optimal casting performance. Ideal reel for feeder, float, barbel, stalking, etc.
