• A completely redesigned and significantly expanded range of premium Scope rods, built on 30-ton high-modulus carbon blanks with a low resin content. An external 1K Toray carbon weave delivers an exceptionally fast recovery speed combined with beautifully progressive actions across all test curves. The Scope OPS blanks have been further enhanced with 45-degree multidirectional fibre reinforcement, dramatically reducing twist and lateral distortion. This construction focuses energy into a crisp, accurate recovery under heavy load, resulting in noticeably improved casting distance and precision. To meet the demands of specialised fishing techniques across Europe, both the Scope OPS and Scope rod ranges are now available in CG versions fitted with ceramic guides. Ceramic rings provide the most durable lining currently available, preventing wear caused by repeated use with thick braided mainlines, leader knots or shock leaders. The Scope OPS range now also includes new 6ft rods in 3.5lb, the most powerful short rods ever produced in the series, specifically designed for targeting the very largest carp. In addition, 3.75lb and 4lb test curves have been introduced in the 9ft and 10ft models, ideal for heavy lead systems in strong flow, extreme long-range boat fishing, or casting large PVA bags and Dot Spods. For anglers still hesitant about switching to shorter rods due to casting concerns, extensive testing by Jermaine Hull saw distances exceeding 200 metres achieved with both the 3.75lb and 4lb Scope OPS models. These ultra-powerful versions also deliver uncompromising performance when targeting giant catfish, predators or even saltwater species. Handle options include Abbreviated Black Duplon, Olive Duplon and Dark Cork, ensuring a style to suit every preference. All models feature the patented Butt Lock Peg system, which can be fitted into the butt cap to provide additional stability while fishing. Subtle Scope branding along the handle sides and at the rear above the butt cap delivers a refined, signature finish. The carbon reel seat, engraved with Nash logos and featuring a flattened thumb grip, offers enhanced control and comfort during intense fights.
