• The Curado DC is the latest generation of DC baitcasting reels within Shimano’s most popular BC reel family – Curado. This low-profile reel features Shimano's exclusive Digital Control braking system (i-DC4), which automatically regulates spool rotation speed during casting. The reel includes a self-charging microcomputer that requires no batteries or external power sources. With the easy-to-adjust dial knob, you can set the reel to a completely free mode or one of three different settings: 1 for braided line or mono, 2 for fluorocarbon, and 3 for challenging casting conditions such as strong winds. Once set, the microcomputer adjusts the spool speed in nanoseconds during the cast, preventing backlash, maximizing casting performance, and allowing you to focus more on the joy of fishing.
